Ideris is the Raona brand focused on offering technological solutions for marinas and yacht clubs. We have been working with leading marinas in the sector for over 10 years, allowing them, through computer applications, to evolve in an agile, secure way and make evidence-based decisions.
The project began in 2005 with a group of marinas and yacht clubs in Catalonia. From this project, the Galatea ERP was born, an application for the management of marinas, a totally innovative product that allowed the day-to-day operations of marinas to be managed in an agile and user-friendly way.
In 2011, when the product had already been 100% consolidated, the marinas that had started the project and Raona determined that it should continue evolving and innovating to have a cutting-edge product. So, at that time, it was decided to create a new product that would start from the functionalities of its predecessor but would already be designed to help marinas navigate their digital transformation.
And what does navigating the digital transformation mean? It means adapting the business of your marina or yacht club to the changing needs of society through the use of technological tools. For example, until 2008, practically all marinas basically managed the berths of their customers’ private boats. Rarely were value-added activities offered for these customers, and nautical service companies provided complementary services to boat owners. Circumstances have changed notably since then, both economically and socially, and new activities managed by marinas and yacht clubs require adequate technological tools to face the challenges of new demand.
